Interesting image evocative of the Late 19th and early 20th century post cards the tatto and lack of hair establish it as a contemopary image the top hat is interesting ,lends a masculine element to a feminine image also in the late 19th century it was taboo for women to dress masculine . The hair bob short cut is also a element of taboo and rebellion during the early part of the 20th century . this image is both beautiful to view and has social narrative also .
