dabar 0 Posted March 20, 2009 Images like this are fun to do and add new life to an existing photograph. I have thousands of smoke photos in my files, many of which I have never looked closely at.I think I was one of the first to develop a way to photograph smoke in multiple colors by using pieces of colored gel in front of a strobe located a few inches from the smoke plume. Only a few of those images stand on their own, but they often work well with a treatment similar to that which was used on this one. When I am going for `art' as opposed to recording a scene as viewed, I try to visualize what could be, and go from there.Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
