This plethora of photographers were photographing flowers. It would appear that flowers are more popular than naked women. (In Hong Kong anyway!)

Feedback appreciated.

Geoff, You would think that there was something intersting going on. The sad thing is there is absolutely nothing happening other than these photographers are snapping the flowers you see in front of them.

Amitai, Perhaps more interesting because it isn't.

Thanks to you both.

This image gives me a chuckle, David. It's funny seeing photographers grabbing for a shot, in what, like a square inch of space?, and there's you, catching the real news. Wonderful capture.

that is one beautiful capture of a flower. I do enjoy your images of Hong Kong life.

This beats Japan by a long chalk, David. But this kind of thing does happen. Back in June I went to a 'lily garden' i.e. a big park (with a stiffish entrance fee) planted all over with day lilies (and some clematis trained to grow up the trees). It was a week day, so there weren't many people there, but I'd say 90 percent of those who were there were wielding cameras. This seemed a little over the odds, until my husband read the pamphlet he had picked up a the ticket boot. There was a photography competition with very respectable prize money. The organizers get to keep the rights to submitted photos for calendars and publicity. Unfortunately for me the lilies weren't yet in full bloom and before they were I put my back out and didn't get to make another visit. Flower photography can be quite hard on the body!

No competition here that I am aware of. However, snapping snappers did seem more interesting to me than snapping flowers. Thanks a lot.
