michaeljlawson 0 Posted March 16, 2009 I think it's an Eastern Phoebe like this one http://www.birdingmaine.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/eastern-phoebe1.jpg or this one http://www.dcwild.com/images/Woodland%20Birds/Eastern-Phoebe.jpg. Nice DOF, wonderful smooth background. The only thing I may do to it would be to clone out the stick in the upper right corner or crop it. May be hard to crop without cutting out the tail, so cloning may work better. Keep Shooting, Michael. Link to comment
seancrane 0 Posted March 16, 2009 Thanks a lot Michael. Looks like you're right and I'll change the title of this one. Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted March 16, 2009 Really excellent shot, Sean! Cloning out that upper right branch should be pretty easy. Very nice background for this one! Best regards, Dick Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted March 16, 2009 I looked at the large picture, the sharp focus and the crisp details are very good, I think I would take that branch out, you could probably do it with the healing brush tool. I used the healing brush tool, only took a few seconds. Link to comment
michaeljlawson 0 Posted March 16, 2009 Nice work Jim! Sean if are willing to make such alteration, I have to say with that branch gone as in Jim's example, my attention is immediately drawn to the birds eye instead of just to the space between the branches. I think it makes quite an improvement. Link to comment
