I find it interesting how people view themselves...particularly through self-portraits. It makes perfect sense to me that as a photographer you would focus on your eyes...the pure essence of what photography is all about are the eyes...how we see the world, what we want others to see through our eyes...I'm not quite sure why your face is washed out and the haze covers most of your image...maybe to de-emphasize yourself and focus more on the images??? Overall I like this portrait and the Thanks is a cool touch. Nicely captured.
