I like the curtain not just for creating mood but as a compositional device to add lines

Take a look at your own sunsets with the railings in front. What do the lines of the railings add to the pictorial composition? The same principle applies here.

Excellent by any standard. I would be curious to see it reversed, with the gap inthe drape where the head is, but maybe then it would be too predictable. At any rate, this is a very commendale photo.
