Mark, you got me all excited to do some more exploring when I get a chance. Up here in Monterey County the lupine will not appear probably for another month, but there seem to be some amazing displays down south despite the cold dry winter. Your latest work is really wonderful as you can tell from all the comments you've been receiving. I especially like reading the ones from Canadians :)

Mark: I drive through Arvin virtually every year on my way to the desert and DVNP. I've never seen it like it is this year and this photo is a great depiction of the beauty there. To think how nasty it will be by mid-summer!
