dandem 1 Posted March 13, 2009 Really cool, Dave. The DOF is perfect and the detailed sky adds drama to the shot. Well done, my friend. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted March 14, 2009 another psychedelic abstract. Looks like giant blades of a food processor stirring clouds. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment

bjcarlton 0 Posted March 20, 2009 Very nice. I was beginning to wonder what had happened to you. Looks like a road trip was involved. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted March 26, 2009 Nice shot David, I like your choice of b&w with strong contrast for the image. I find myself thinking that a larger can of Campbell soup awaiting to be opened would look good positioned above these sharp devices. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 28, 2009 I feel like I'm Buck Rogers on a rocketship blasting off into space. I think this is a massively interesting picture and will insert in post haste into my little collection of favorites. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 29, 2009 Nice to see you somewhat active again. I've been thinking of you, know this is a difficult time, and hope you're doing OK. This is a special photograph, in my opinion. Celestial with an edge. Feels like perhaps a helicopter going down. Interesting perspective and very atmospheric. A winner. Link to comment
jbm 0 Posted March 30, 2009 Rapturous is just about right. It makes me feel small, humble, and is just a perfect image. I love the entrance of the structure via the corner of the frame to the left. Cheers, Jay Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted March 30, 2009 Thank you very much. I appreciate your appreciation of this. It is one of my latest faves of my own work and look forward to printing it up large. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 30, 2009 Aptly titled shot! It is an amazing exercise in composition. I think it works so well because of the tonal range. Awesome work! michael Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted July 6, 2009 It's interesting how the conversion to BW and the nice pattern creates the mystery....it could be the clouds or the fog, it could be vertical up or horizontal...a color version would have been less mind puzzling and I think this mind game is part of the enjoyment together with the toning with shades of greys confined in intermediate values (practically no black or white) that also contribute to the strange mood...a pleasure to look David...
