Please allow me to be the first. I'm sure that many will follow.

I have been starting at this photograph for several minutes now. It absolutely has mesmerized me. The composition is amazing. My eyes were immediately drawn to the lower left corner where the colors are more vivid. At the same time, the softer area conveys its own quiet sense of beauty.

I have no doubt that any gallery would be proud to have this photograph adorning its walls. You should feel proud of yourself to be able to produce work of this magnitude.

My compliments,

michael

It is gratifying that you and I can really appreciate this image. Some purists might ask what is the main subject, where is the foreground and background? To me this is all about form, interaction of colors and mood. I also can look at this for minutes and receive pleasure but I feel that we are in the minority. I had the opportunity to submit for critique today but chose something a bit more conventional but still in the realm of being abstract.

Unbelievable, Tony. it has hypnotic value...it creates a form of inner peace for me.

It is sensational...thanks for sharing this. After the day I have had, I needed to see this...thank you, my friend. It goes straight to my fav's folder.

GREAT JOB TONY!!! This image is in a class all-by-itself. The locally sharp areas are an especially striking feature of this image which give it an ethereal quality.

Sorry you had an unusual or bad day - glad that this image could provide some homeopathic relief. From Sunday until Wednesday it has been a bit stressful for me but my assignment is now over and I am back to doing what I like best - image creation. Best regards,

Glad you like the soft aspect in this image. Thanks very much for the 7/7 anon rating. Take care and best regards, My PC is still not functional - now it reboots every 3 minutes or so. Think I will have to call in the professionals.

Tony this is something that I could look at for a long time. It is amazing. I love the way the light glows. The colours of the rainbow are magical here. It has another worldly feel. As I look at it seems to change from butterflies, to birds, to flowers, to ants. I would love to see this animated. This is truly wonderful. All the best.

Your comment and rating is very much appreciated. I have just had a chance to visit some of your wonderful images. Got to focus on getting my desk top computer functional again - it might be a flaky hard disk. Perhap back later today or tonight.

Tony Tony Tony-

Now I now why you haven't been prowling about the net as much lately! You are in creative overdrive. I went to your portfolio to see what you'd been up to, saw a new post, clicked, and hadn't even finished scrolling it into full view before I was exhaling a long, whispered, whoooooo - long "o" sound ; ) ! My eyes literally opened wider - I kid you not. This just glows! I would call it "The Auroa Borealis Comes to the Flower Garden" - it is what it reminds me of.... but your title is absolutely perfect - like this work. I think what amazes me is the luminosity - you have made it look not like glass, or metal or swirled pigments (OK - swirled light on a monitor), but like a silk painting. The diagonally oriented composition is fabulous! Spring is bursting forth. You have combined delicate shapes and forms with strong, jewel tone colors. The picture has energy as well as strength and delicacy. Such finesse with liquification! Soft and vivid at the same time. The framing is perfect - adds very dynamic contrast, but does not hem the picture in. Max plus on all accounts. This is abstract of the year at least- in my opinion!!!!!! (You should be able to market this in a heartbeat!) One "complaint" - this masterpiece is a bit distracting - I can't take my eyes off it to get anything else done. It has also moved me to tears, which means it's up there in a class with Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini."

Sandra, Sandra, Sandra! Thank you for your eloquent, articulate and insightful comments. I honestly wish I could express myself like that. I am glad that you liked it and thank you for the max rating. My desktop now has a stable operating system and now I have to load all the programs which should take me the next few days. All the very best,
