You should give it a nudge more contrast and maybe add a little canvas to the top and the right side.

Robert, thank you very much for your critique. I'm afraid I couldn't give the bird more room inside the image as it nearly flew out of my picture frame due to the uncontrollable conditions of picture taking of a flying object while self on a wildly moving vessel, a stormy wind pushing & pulling me & my camera. The shot was taken against the sun & underexposed, but with a bit of computer aid I yet managed to show some detail, although somewhat bleak indeed. Cheers, Sam.
