These are such great looking birds. It's very difficult to get a good image of these guys under high direct sunlight. On my monitor he/she looks kind of washed out. I think the image would look better with some increased contrast and saturation - or clarity and vibrance in Lightroom-ese. Also maybe darken the edges some. Looks like you had a great trip and came back with some wonderful images. Cheers, Steve

Steve, thank you very much for your critique. I'm afraid the image looks alright on my monitor, but I know this can be totally different on other monitors, depending on computer set-up, graphic card type. etc. Yes, taking the trip to get images like this was very worthwhile. Cheers, Sam.

I looked at the penguin again on another monitor, and it just brightened right up. I did try darkening the edges some. I think it makes the penguin stand out. Hope you like it. Nice job. Steve
