When making images of cascades like this one, I usually under-expose

by 1 or 2 stops to avoid loosing detail in the water. Then I bring up

the shadows in PS. For this one there is some loss of detail in the

water. Comments, ratings, questions and critiques are encouraged.

Beautiful composition and green colors! For my eyes the fashionable "silky water" spoils the shot, it looks so unnatural. Probbaly it is a matter of taste.

Thanks for the input in the silky water Didi. Next time I'm making images of cascades, I'll keep your message in mind and make some with a fast shutter time.
