Rockscape - Tioga Pass

Wonderful light! Nice composition with good foreground. Technically excellent like all your other shots.

This was a reshoot of a location I shot with 35mm one year ago from

the same spot. This is with the P67II. Shot from the Tuolumne Meadows

section of Tioga Pass in the upper Yosemite mountains near the

Eastern Sierras, CA. I would have liked to have some clouds but

apparently June is not a very good month for dramatic clouds in

California.

Very nice colors and composition. Another foreground element besides the rocks might've helped. Hard to say for sure.

Nice color and shape! I find the stones in the foreground a bit distracting, tough.

If you wanted some clouds you only needed to wait. I took http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=866863 5 days later.

The exposure is excellent here. I personally think the rocks add to the image. Clouds would have been nice, but certainly not needed to make this a great image. Great play of shadows and light. Well done Tom!!
