Maybe I am biased 'cause I am such a big Santana fan but I like this. However, I feel that you should never crop guitar because it is an extension of a master player.

You know, there is youtube video with Santana improvising together with another star guitarist, often mentioned as the best. While the other sticks to sawing blues scale up and down Santana mixes a lot more complex scales going thru here and there, up and down and stepping out of scale - and all so controlled and with such a perfect technique that the guitar is no longer separated from the player - they become one, like a man making love to a woman in a perfect way. Perfection. Another similar guitarist is the Spanish Paco de Lucia. With both these guys playing is so intuitive like it would come straight out of their heart.

Viva Carlos!

Thanks for your comment to my photo. In the four hours of the concert duration, I took 1132 pictures (YES, ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO) and most of them are with the complete guitar, like some of the other 24 of the Santana´s folder, but in this one, I specially wanted to reflect the intimacy of the artist close up, their emotions and their feeling in his sexual relation with the guitar. It´s like when you want to suggest the presence of somebody without the need of including him in the picture.

Thanks again. I hope you like the other images of my portfolio.

Osvaldo.
