Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 9, 2009 Wonderful shot, Bulent. The woman looks resigned to her task. I think it takes a moment to realize that there is a face in the window but it's such a wonderful profile that it transports the photograph to a much higher level. I'm not explaining myself very well, I know, but this is a photograph that earns and keeps our attention. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted March 11, 2009 I love photo's like this because they are so interesting from a photographically but even more so from a social point of view. You got it just right because her gaze commands that interest. It has a definite "timeless"quality that I admire. Technically you've kept it rather soft which may well be the best choice. Damned good work Bulent. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 12, 2009 Bulent, interesting composition ,especially because her face are present ,but her body is less defind, so her gaze gets the special attention and it is a bit enigmatic... I like the way you have cropped it with the small other elements reflected in the window, and the title that is not presenting the real story.... Interesting as well is the window form, so we, the viewers, see her from the outside. Link to comment
