Very nice picture - you always bring a refreshing view to the photo game. I taught high school chemistry, physics, biology, marine biology, photography and other things, saw this sight a million times yet never thought to photograph it. The bright yellow is caused by the element Sodium, so why not name it "Sodium Flame?" The glass is called soda glass and is very rich in sodium ions.

The bright white out-of-focus patch lower left is a trap for the eye. I would retouch it out with Photo Shop.
