I like it very much - moment and mood captured is really cool: what would someone do in clean stables with no horse around - fall asleep :) Light and exposure are good - I like that here sun and some reflections are blown out. Maybe too many spots, but I think it's ok. Framing and composition is very good. This will defnitely work in monochrome too - maybe with slight sepia tone - that may present this as something old :) Now here is the question: it is so clean it almost looks unnatural for stable (at least compared to those I've seen :)

Thanks very much, Vardan! This stable is part of a heritage village, the Ukrainian Village, east of Edmonton. It may only be used for animals in the summer. This shot was taken in winter, when it was about -25C, so the stables were clean and empty at the time.

Wow! What a great composition! And it being a self-portrait is very clever.

Now the exposure is so perfect - is this merged from multiple shots? Or is it simply a single shot? and if I may ask (just curious to learn), how did you meter it. Thank you in advance.

And Kudos!

Thanks a.n! I just reshot it many times, and kept adjusting the exposure until I had the look I was trying for. Cheers, Scott.
