Gallego and Bobby, thank you for your kind words. I thought it was sort of a pleasant image. I sort of guessed it was too "quiet" of an image to get much attention on PN, but I liked it. It makes me that much more appreciative of your comments. Thank you again. Dan

P.S. I think the image is noticeably better viewed larger.

Hello. I ran across your work quite by accident while googleing the name Daniel Bliss. You see, my new Son in law's name is Daniel and my daughters name is Bliss. I decided to look at your work and was very taken with this image. It contains an incredible amount of depth. You feel as if you might just step into....Stunning. Thank you Pamela Ambrose

Dan, I have come around and admired this photo on multiple occasions.

When I look at your work I am always humble by your production skills. You are so adept at wringing out everything which lays within your images.

This one has an astonishing sense of depth as Pamela has mentioned. Each individual subject, beginning with the foreground shrub all the way back to the mountain peaks and clouds, seem to exist on their own plane, somehow surreal in their distinction from the objects around them. I am left with this odd sense of looking down the length of a pinball machine, if that makes any sense. Such a magical landscape.

Ha. Thanks Gordon. I fear your description of my photo may be better than the photo itself, but I do thank you. As far as any skill, I think it may be mostly stubbornness. I usually try several times with a photo before I like it. Dan
