Good composition. IMO, it lacks a bit of 'punch'. I might add a local contrast or saturation adjustment to add a BIT more impact. Maybe just sharpening would do it. Great color and background blur, though.

Hi Anthony. I agree with Les. This is generally a nice shot. I like the colors, the DOF that includes the leaf and the flowers but starts to blur at the stem, but it does lack a little punch. I like Les' suggestions of trying some additional saturation and/or sharpening. Another idea might be to reshoot/crop such that the stem moves more in a diagonal line. Can you put the base of the leaf in the upper right and have the stem trail off to the lower left? Might add some dynamic punch. It's hard to do with what you've posted, but here's the idea. Perhaps you have more on your frame to re-orient this a bit without losing key pieces like I was forced to here. Just a thought.
