A more subtle wildflower image from my recent Wind Wolves Preserve collection. From the Larger preview, you can see evidence of California Poppies showing up on the hills. We had a good soaking rain yesterday, so by this weekend, this should be a veritable flower garden landscape. Thanks for your time!

Mark... Another fabulous scene from this series. You've outdone yourself on all of these. Beautiful color, composition and brilliant clarity... Mike

I would rate this among the best in yours series. The flowers really pop and the bright yellowish area down the slope makes a great impact to the green landscape. So wonderful! Congrats!

Thanks Geert, Anabela, Mike, Lester and Jeffrey! I expect this will be much more dramatic when I return. I have enjoyed frequenting this area, been here almost two years and never knew the first thing about it. Thanks again!

Hi Sarah. Thanks for your impressions. If you ever come to Bakersfield, do so at this time of year, don't wait till summer.
