bettiecl 0 Posted March 5, 2009 Colour slide scanned and in photoshop converted to black and white, I painted back some greys and yellows in an attempt to re create the mood I experienced in this place of desolation. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted March 5, 2009 Wow! Talk about a different take on this oft-photographed locale. More than just being different, I think it is very effective. The prettiness of the place has been stripped away by the strong contrast and the B&W treatment. That leaves only the starkness, the ghostliness of the place left behind in the image. I really find this startlingly compelling and gripping. I would be interested in seeing this without the yellow -- either as a straight B&W or toned overall. I'm not sure it'd be better; but, I would still be curious. Link to comment

sherri_meyer 0 Posted March 6, 2009 This is a very unique looking and beautiful photograph. It is also very mysterious looking. I'm not quite sure what all you did to this photo to get this effect, but I LOVE it! Great job! Link to comment
