The cloud that stormed into the scene near The Castel, in Cathedral

Vally, somehow highlighted the various curve-shaped lines created by

the little pebbles and the large boulder. All these halves came

together for me in the circular bush in front. Therefore the title in

which I refer to the noun and the verb - the thing and the action, so to

speak.

Super shot, I like the moody darks and the sharp for ground rocks and grass

Realy like the dramatic sky, lighting, tones and contrast.... VERY Well Composed and Quite Beautiful!!! Well Done!

I like the composition, but I think the contrast may be a bit too high. In particular, I think the image might be improved by opening up the shadow areas in the foreground and middleground, and by adding a curves layer to even out the tones in the sky.

... for making the effort to comment, Everyone. Although I also went for the (hopefully only "almost") melodrama in accentuating the light dark contrast, I hear what you say, Anish. I'll try your suggestion to get a better web-view. The print however, done by an exceptionally good printer, Silvertone, in Johannesburg, does show more detail in the dark areas. Really a matter of trial and (much) error! :-))

I really like the contrasty dark image -- though I might like to see more detail in the dark areas without losing the tonal contrast.
