Thank you very much, Mike, Martin and Tony! This week I decided to switch from my usual walk around 18-200mm VR zoom to my Sigma 30mm f1.4 prime. I've been wanting to try the 30mm lens for more landscape shots and to force me to zoom with my feet instead of the lens. The more I use this lens, the more I like it.

Great composition choice, I love the strong vertical lines of the trees and the subtle hints of red and green. Winter is waning down here. Currently 52 degrees (8:30 pm). It's a beautiful night!

Great winter colors; the foreground birch pulls me right in with thoughts of spring.
