Rapturous scenery with the light emanating from behind the clouds. The tranquility of the place surrounded by calm waters on both sides and dotted with small details like the trail on the right side make this shot quite enthralling.

beautiful shot Tony. Lovely warm light and colors. Excellent postprocessing, I was first puzzled by how you managed to keep the exposure on the closer side of the mountain in check, until i noticed this was HDR. My only comment then is that the light on the far side of the mountain should be brighter than on the closer side, since the sun is on that side. But that's really just nitpicking. Well done. Cheers - michel

Beautiful image Tony. I really like the wildflowers in the lower left I wish they were just a bit more pornounced but in that light it would be difficult unless you caught the sun in just the right position. Best regards, rek.

Adan thanks for your kind and beautiful words describing this scene.

Anuar _ thanks for stopping by - I have to visit your images since i have not done so recently.

Michel: thanks for your insightful comments - your points have been noted. I am gaining more knowledge each day about the HDR software Photomatix. There are many parameters in the tone mapping and my choices in that area may have caused the points you have noted.

Jim thanks for your nice words.

Michael: thanks for stopping by.

Richard - glad you liked it - will see if i can bring out those flowers with some post procesing.

All: you may see more St.Kitts-Nevis images since I am preparing for a photo presentation at a local library next week.

Tony, usually I don't like so much HDR, but it works nicely here. The semi circle of rockes are leading the eye to the triangle of light behind the cloud. Beautiful warm scene, light and texture.

This is seriously nice! Love the flow of the mountain range and the glowing sun and it's rays. The timing here was essential and right on!

The ratings police arrested me for trying to rate this 7/7. Sigh . . .

This is a magnificent photograph. I don't know which element is portrayed more beautifully - the mountains, the sea, or the sky.

To congratulate you on this, in my opinion, would be superfluous.
