fixcinater 0 Posted March 3, 2009 Hello, thanks for looking. Natural light only (window light in main room, skylight and window in the room behind her). Looking to learn, so hit me with the HELPFUL critiques. Only post done was hitting the "Antique" preset in Adobe Lightroom, and resizing for web. Hope you enjoyed! Link to comment
macmoss 0 Posted March 6, 2009 There is a heck of a lot that works about this. I love the arms, legs, and feet, the light on the face, and the way the floral pattern on the dress meshes with both of the wallpaper patterns. If I were a painter (and aren't we all, in these Photoshop days), the only thing I would do, which wouldn't be easy, would be to eliminate the detail of the railing on the right side of the photo. Although it is there for obvious reasons, I think the composition would be more powerful if it disappeared, and the wall blended in instead. That is the kind of thing to consider when preparing an image for exhibition. Great shot and thanks for posting! Link to comment
