I can see only one minor distracting detail (the splash of lighter grey in the background above his nose). You've captured a very personal glimpse of the subject and conveyed it effectively. Thanks for your nice comment, it is a series I do with a music ensemble playing Baroque music. You are right about the BG , I was aware of it and corrected it, but it takes time on PN to show.....
