The Khazak people in Western Mongolia still practice the old traditionof Eagle Hunting. To maintain this culture they organize yearlyfestivals where the hunters compete against each other for theirskills and traditional clothing.

Thanks for comments and rating. Karl

Spontaneously one could have the idea to discuss about the position of the trio. Yet its fine to show that he is coming from far far away. Special the blurred and sharp areas at the right places!

Karl,

Common composition of scenes like this one is supposed to leave more space in front of the subject in motion rather than behind, your image gives me an impression your horse is about getting out from it. Maybe some cropping will help? Interesting subject indeed, well seen less well done.

Alright Karl! You nailed this one! Wow! This is impressive in so many ways. It's so exotic, the hint of motion is perfect, and the position of the eagle is amazing! This is the epitome of great travel photography.

Hi Karl

Just been revisiting your shot.  Just to show what could be done with less depth of field I have very quickly done a quick edit.  Shows what you could do with spending more time than me and with Photoshop Elements.

Hope that helps !

Cheers

Jim
