This is an example of how manipulation can be done with subtlety, taste, and artistry, for an evocative effect that doesn't seem artificial at all.

 

It seems sensual to me on several levels: color, composition, light, texture, the implications of representationality.

I was aiming for a delicacy...much similar to that of a 'silk scarf'.....when draped around your neck it has a definite 'feel'...light, soft...yet cool....not suffocating and heavy. Thankyou for your generous comments Mac....I am truly humbled....with much appreciation, Gail
