Everglades Sunset

It is rarely good to have a image in which your low values are void of

any detail but in this case I think that it works. The solid black

helps to set off the white cloud and middle values of the sky. What do

you think?

It works. I also think the band of water breaks up the black nicely. Like the way the water runs from right to left and going from large to small. Sometimes, you need to break " The Rules " IMO of course...Lefty

Very nice indeed! The sky is the first element I discover and then the water is an extra treat.

 

The Everglades are on my list of places to behold before I run out of time to see the world.

I think it works too. The subtle tones in the sky counter the heavy lower part of the image. I like the square crop as well.
