Funtak 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Thank you for the comment, I agree with you. The potencial problem is that I can see a "story" where you don't and vice versa; sometimes, maybe even most of the times I am looking for an inner beauty. How a viewer would react depends of hundred factors, for example, if someone is looking at my photo after he has got 3 or 4 3/3 or nothing at all for an image he considers fine he will not react in the same way as if he had got a tax return.. wieslawmamon 0 Posted February 27, 2009 Strong story about the feelings of the yearning for the past. I like the simple, clean composition with meaningful elements and the light which add up to the nostalgic atmosphere. Very well done Vladimir, thank you for sharing and best regards, -wm Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 28, 2009 I think you are right about stories. The story I see may not be the one you see. And when I sense a story in a photo or I portray a story in a photo, I expect people to recognize that there is "A" story but not that I have given them or am supposed to see "THE" story. It can be obvious that a photo is telling a story, has more of a narrative than others, without it being obvious what that story is or without there being consistency from the story one viewer will get to the story another viewer can get. Composition and light seems to be telling the story here, along with her expression. In addition to storytelling, I take this as a still life as well, even with the human subject. Link to comment
