single photos Time Trials

recent Time Trails of Tour of California AMGEN race in Sacramento on
Valentines day. I'm not positive, but this may be Tom Peterson, who
won the second stage a few days later.

The great Dave Z. How can you shoot a cycling event and not know Dave? :-) One of the best Time Trialists in the world. Really great photo.

I don't usually shoot or follow cycling, except the ToC for three years in SacTown. And I was looking at the wrong 'Starting Order' list (the one for Solvang, not Sacramento).

This really is a great shot of Dave Z Anthony. well captured and presented. excellent clarity on the face

I thought that it's slightly out of focus but then i noticed the helmet and the hands on the grips.I suppose you was not standing in his way so a so much tight portrait presupposes a small tele lens, which makes this photo REALLY difficult.They move fast but you managed to keep him well in the frame, the exposure is excellent with great sense of the speed.Regards

Z Man! Ayyways, GREAT SHOT! Sharp colors, nice DOF. I think you used the right shutter speed to get the moment.

Excellent capture

70-200mm f/2.8 lens at 70mm.

 

1/125 shutter and f/6.3 aperture.

 

Obviously, panning.
