Interesting tree, very 'narly'.........good shot....!

Of all of the beautiful photos on the page, this is the one that really struck me. To find so much motion in such a stationary object is truly amazing. My first impression of the thick trunk on the right was that of a figure skater holding up his partner. I also find the juxtaposition of the diagonally slanted leaves and the swerving branches very interesting. Finally, the negative space between the branches reminds me of a painting that I love by a Turkish painter named Salari.
