cherlyn 1 Posted February 22, 2009 We 1st arrived at MeiLi, still trying to overcome & adapt to the high altitute . The sky is still bright, yet we see the moon high above the sky, looking quietky dowm at the mountains & the few settlements. Link to comment

gopinathramakrishnanthevar 0 Posted February 23, 2009 Oh wow! Interesting architecture, beautiful mountain, rich blue gradient sky and the moon, all in one photo. Congrats. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Beautiful colors. I like how you've left so much sky in the shot, the blue contrasting so well with the gold in the foreground. Link to comment
khataw 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Cherlyn, nice image which sets a great mood. It probably would be more balanced it the cattle and the man were not cut out at the bottom of the image. My 2 bits! Regards Link to comment

arash khoshghadam 0 Posted February 24, 2009 this shot doesn't work for me. the reason is that the shot doesn't correspond with the title. the house has obstructed the mountain effectively. the title here is "moon over the abandoned house". the problem is an old one: the focal point and the angel of view. the point of view frames all the components that constitute a photo. the eyes see the components and interpret the result. if you hadn't named your shot my suggested title would surely take place. for this shot all you needed could be the mountain and the moon.agreed? cherlyn 1 Posted February 24, 2009 Arash, thanks for your input. I get what you mean about the title not fitting the image. As I was personally there, its the mountain range that wow us over, so the house didn't really come to mind when I title it. Appreciate your thought. Link to comment
