snow melt run-off. I was lucky to be able to shoot from where I did. I had

to tie myself to a tree, scramble down a muddy and steep hill, stand in

mud and water with no shoes on my poor feet. The mist was fogging

the lens quicker than I could hit the shutter! I was a mess when I finally

made my way back to the trail.

The falls is captured beautifully, but the real beauty in your photo lies in the colours of the rocks and mosses, those colours all the more vibrant for being wet. Your photo was well worth the effort and discomfort you endured.

I agree with Keith on this one. Very beautiful and well captured in a perfect composition. And then there is the colours and the textures on the rocks. Standing on a paved road and taking such a shot is fine...but when you damn near kill yourself to get the shot...that's the ultimate satisfaction, although it might not feel like it at the time!
