This is a stunning sight. I feel a tighter crop might make the river of lavendar pop a bit more. I can almost smell it from here. What a awesome place.

You are correct. It really is better enlarged.

The lavender in the foreground is very detailed Mike; perhaps a tighter crop would make you loose the effect of the great contrast in the color of the earth. I like this photo just the way it is. It gives me a broader sense of the landscape. The other two gave a little more detailed (up close)view...so why repeat the same type of shot. The 'flow' of the lavender has my eye 'travelling' into your image. Very beautiful and effective shot!

Enlarged this photo looks better!;-)

What a wonderful place. The composition and colors,- you have got just right! Very nice!

I liked this composition more than the earlier one.

You seem to have left the sky comparatively bland here.

I wonder if this was on purpose; aiming to prevent rivalry between it and the lavender field.

Hi Mike,

I fell in love with that scene. You know, I always dreamed about going to Australia and Tasmania, but never make it. I spent a year in New Zealand, but didn't have a chance to go to Oz.
