I aggree about the effectivenes of the geometrical shape and framing. The use of grain and B/W choice adds to composition.

Hi Alex I am glad you like the geometry of this and you are absolutely right that this is reminiscent more of the forties.

Karole thanks for your comment. Although this is an international forum and the language normally used is English, I used the Greek word ‘’Skiagraphia’’ which translates literally as ‘’writing with shadows’’ as opposed to ‘’Photographia’’ or Photography, ‘’writing with light’’. I think that writing with shadows is a more appropriate word for our art as it is the shadows that add volume to a picture but I suppose that the word photography was established because the exposure was made with light in the darkroom.

in the photo there is no eye...and everyone agree that eyes create expressions..but in this photo people can feel expression..great photo

 

 

b&w is good choice
