I am struck by the abstract nature of this image. It has both the barren approach of a scientific and cold image and the warm aesthetic of an abstract painting. The pallet is wonderful, as is the texture. Was this planned, or a lucky capture with a good eye?

Hello John. Thanks for Your comment. My answer is : both. We were 1 week on a photo holiday on Lanzarote . As this is a small island, we passed this place many times by . I had noticed the fantastic hues and I knew the place was worth while to stop to do some shooting...so 1 evening we did.. cheers Jana

I love the composition - the placement of contrast between both the color and light. Quite an abstract, and quite an image.
