katzpjs 50 Posted February 21, 2009 I really like this one. The trees are framing the city quite nicely and the foreground shadows are preventing the grass to be over exposed. Based on the clarity of the image in both foreground and distance, I'm assuming you used a tripod. Would that be a correct assumption? Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Thanks Shawn. Actually, no tripod. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 21, 2009 I'm learning some new processing techniques to bring out the color in my infrared photos. I appreciate your thoughts. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 21, 2009 Hi, I commented on another of your IR shots just before this one. I like this one even more, the city's skyline really does add to the surreal look. Link to comment
melloncollie 0 Posted February 21, 2009 i feel like you focused to the background, the tree-trunks are not as sharp as the background (or maybe just lens distorting at the edges). otherwise, great technique, great color, tones and mood. very well done! Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Thanks, Zsolt. Yes, I did focus more on the skyline. Part of the issue at the time, though, was that I was using a lens that was not properly calibrated for the IR sensor (which is pretty sensitive), so it led to a lack of sharpness on the periphery of my photos. Once I got it recalibrated, I got much better results. Link to comment
