I would love to have some feedback on this image, it's one of my first

real tries at using Adobe Photoshop. Any critiques or comments will be

greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Heather, I love this, but I played with it a little and lightened it up, and also lightened the lizard so it would stand out more. See what you think.

Thank you. I just started playing with photoshop and I'm not an expert with using it yet. It does look better lightened.

I'm not an expert either, and never will be! I love what you did with the layers. You have talent!

Thank you. I really appreciate your comments. Sometimes I don't get any feedback and I don't know if it's because my pictures are so bad or just because no one seems to see them. Thanks.

It's hard to get many comments (at least for me). I get more comments when I spend a lot of time on pn and comment on lots of other people's photos. Then some of them will visit and return the favor. It gets pretty time-consuming though. There seems to be a huge number of photos on the critique forum all the time, so that's probably part of it...too many people who want to receive critiques, but don't take the time to give critiques to others.

Most everything I've learned over the past 4 years about photography I have learned from people on this site, though. Lots of the good photographers are really nice about sharing their tricks and techniques for photographing and editing. Kim Slonaker is one who has taught me a lot here. You should look her up if you haven't seen her work yet.
