Moving the bird just a little bit to the left could maybe make it slightly better. But moving it to the right is a ggreat idea and I support it :)

Generally with a bird flight shot, you want to have more space that the bird is flying into versus out of. It adds action or movement to the photo. That said, it appears that you cropped to the extreme of that and you pulled it off. It captures the attention of the viewer. Nice job!
