murphymj4803 0 Posted February 14, 2009 I am intrigued by the choice of your title, it begs for more information. The tranquility of this serene scene seems perfectly idyllic. Congratulations on such a fine capture. Thank you for your follow-up that follows below. Your explanation makes your photo even more interesting. Well done. PSI've re-edited my scoring of this masterful photo to its correct level of worthiness. Link to comment
mikeoday 0 Posted February 14, 2009 Hi Michael Thank you for stopping by and for your comments. It is a lovely spot and one of my favourites from my young life in Tasmania. The title comes from the name of the property. The Salmon Ponds was established in the 1850s as a game fish hatchery for trout and salmon. The property still operates today and young fish from there are released every year into the streams and lakes of Tasmania. Cheers,Mike. Link to comment

celasun 0 Posted February 14, 2009 Excellent B&W conversion reminding me of infrared photos in certain parts This certainly looks more "natural" if that is the correct word. The bank seen mostly in silhoutte contributes the photo nicely. Link to comment
