Wood duck at Canyon Lake Park. I sat perfectly still on the shore for almost an hour before this guy would come close enough to get some decent shots.

your wait was time well spent. I love the compressed perspective from long lenses, and you have used it to good effect. Nice and sharp where it needs to be and really nice color. The only thing I'd want is a little less cropping at the sides (it feels a little crowded to me..) but other than that I think it's perfect!

Anyway you cut it, it doesn't get much better than this photo. Great job again, I hope there was something soft to sit on !!
