cmouli 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Very nice composition. When I view in large size, I can see a bit of yellowish color in the mountains where the river emerges from. Not sure if that was intentional - or an issue with B/W conversion. This looks like Tehri ranges in the Himalayas. Is this Bhagirathi River coming from Gangothri? I have hiked these hills and would like to know some details on the location of this shot. Wonderful capture - thanks for shating. Link to comment

sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted February 17, 2009 Thanks to all for your appreciating comments and supports. Amalbabu, Chandra, this place is situated in between Rotang Pass and Tandi. The river is Chandrabhaga. Best regards. Link to comment
billkantor 0 Posted February 17, 2009 Very effective image. Great composition. Love the monochrome interpretation--tonally rich. Nice contrasts of FG textures, leading lines, and clouds. My only nit is that the highlight in the clouds seems to lack texture. It would be hard to capture all that range in one shot. Perhaps you can clone a little texture back in. Thanks for sharing. cherlyn 1 Posted February 19, 2009 Never ending indeed, the long winding road & the msity farway mountain provide good depth & sense of distance. Link to comment
