I like many things about this portrait.. the treatment is rich and interesting...

 

I wonder though, if they are a couple? nothing "connects" them... compositionally I'd like to see maybe his arm around her? or one looking at the other? as it is here, they are both engaged only with the photographer.... separate in their individual beauty
