paolo de faveri 1 Posted February 11, 2009 Thanks all for commenting on this, I'm really glad you like it.Younes, of course every single image requires a different approach, however most of the times I convert to B&W applying first a black to white gradient map. I don't use the entire range of tones for the gradient map, I leave some room at the edges (so 10-245 instead of 0-255). This still allows me to play with contrast and brightness for fine tuning the image. Finally, I apply the tonality I feel that better suit the feeling I want to convey, using the colour balance tool. In this case I gave 5 points of yellow over blue, and 5 points of red over cyan. That's it! Cheers,Paolo Link to comment
