I'll second that comment. Not only superb exposure for the snow and sky, but the composition of the small creek leading into the frame and the tree line following provides wonderful depth.... Excellent shot... Mike

Thanks guys! This was a stop by the roadside on my way home from work yesterday. It was sunny when I got into my car, within ten minutes these clouds rolled in. But, it is now light when I leave work...something to celebrate!

The whole mood of winter is captured here. The black water and gray sky tell us of winters very cold grip. Great job on the camera set up- exposure is right on!

Thank you, Chris! I shot this with the luminance histogram purposely pushed to the right, +1.0ev, because of the snow and my desire to get the most information from the sensor for post processing.
