ar11664883249 0 Posted February 8, 2009 Abstract images of landscapes are sometimes hard to make, but we think you have suceeded with this one. Beautiful colours ! Best regards. Anne & Runar :-) Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted February 9, 2009 A landscape by color and to have rendered it into an abstract made it more interesting. Has movement and dynamics. Great work, congratulations. Regards! Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Aaron, 4x5 panning has to be an odd artform. I prefer something more compact, and which allows me to take and review lots of alternatives.. What really grabs me about this image is the opposing curves between land and sky. Did you realise you were going to get that result? Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Thanks for the comments everyone. Jeff, I have some idea how it will turn out, that's how I base where to start and stop the pan. In this shot you can see how the yellow streaks are mainly in the center of the image. There was this area of canola that hadn't yet faded so I tried to pan equally around it. The fun part is seeing how the sky and horizon will turn out. I never really know what they will look like; there are so many subtle tones and contours across the sky. If I recall, this pan comprises an area of about 170 degress. Cheers, Aaron Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted February 9, 2009 Like a painting (something from the de Koonig school ;>) Beautifully imagined and executed! This would look fabulous enlarged, matted and framed on the wall. Well done, Aaron! Into "My Favorites" it goes. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

gi11 0 Posted May 27, 2009 Surely I am not the first person who discovers the beauty of this dreamy image painted in an impressionistic way. Fantastic! Link to comment
