Welcome back Mike! Hoping you were on a well deserved 'Getaway'....with many more Photos to grace your Portfolio. I am a lover of LAVENDER....can't imagine being able to walk through fields of it. I grow and 'dry' whatever I can get my hands on. It is so beautiful and your 'Estate' shot here is just lovely. The color of the lavendar is so cheerful in the foreground, and your good use of DOF displays an excellent view of the countryside. Very nice selection of depth of field. Beautiful view...it does not matter very much, but the lavenda flower that is higher that surrounding distracts a little...

Mike this image is great, however what mahes it for me is the memories it brings of 1998 when I first saw Lavender in Tacoma Washington. BR.

I wouldn't mind having a print of this one.
