This is a great capture with fine light and compo from a historical building. As you know and traveled to Iran,This place is situated in Tehran. The name of this building is SHAHYAD.After the islamic revolution, the name of this place changed to AZADI.Many names changed during the islamic revolution.I bring a little summary for your more information and thnx alot for taking and sharing!..."--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Completed in 1971 the Azadi tower in Tehran was formerly known as the Shahyad tower before the Islamic Revolution.

Though the history of Tehran stretches back more than 2,300 years, the Shahyad Tower has managed to become the symbol of Iran's capitol city in just a few decades. The arch rises from Azadi Square mirroring the Elburz (Alborz) mountain range just north of the city. Though not as wondrous as the snowy peaks of Mount Damavand, it is a 148 foot tall masterpiece of cut marble that marks the entrance to this historic city. "Best regards(Bobby).
