mike_stemberg 40 Posted February 5, 2009 The light sensor on this lamp triggered the lamp on even in only mildly darkening condition when it began to snow again ...which drew me to it like a moth to a beacon (maybe I should have said like a photographer to interesting light?). That tree is interesting too, for they were very quick in losing snow whilst others just couldnt shake or melt them off. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted February 5, 2009 I quite like this shot even though I gave up trying to get the snow to look more like snow. I think the composition works on some level. Your views welcomed! Link to comment
ecolors 0 Posted February 9, 2009 I appreciate your photo Mike..although it was taken in a 'cold' setting...I find the atmosphere in this photo to be warm. Great Job! I can see it framed.. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted February 13, 2009 Beautiful scene with a delight of atmosphere, Mike. Excellent vertical composition and b&w-color combination. Good work! Regards! Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted February 18, 2009 Thanks Leslie! About this picture being framed is just about the nicest thing one can say about an image. Thank You. David, thank you to you too.You liked the same thing that I did too when spotting this scene. The colours are natural. Talking of which I wish I had to skill (or the patience) to selectively colour those fine branches against the foliage in the backgound in some other like image. I also think that those two playful figures enjoying the snow add a lot to this image. Thanks again. Link to comment
